Ohana VetCare

Let's address the elephant in the room first: I got to know about Ohana after the 2019 incident but I also had friends who had prior work experience with some of the staff so I decided to consult them when we adopted our first cats. We can confidently say that we'll be making Ohana our family vet after very positive experiences with them. First visit a few weeks back was with Dr Joy, who was very cheerful despite it being a Sunday night during the CNY season. She was very patient with our senior cat and even told her she had the cutest meow of the day 🤭 She and the vet techs were very nurturing and encouraging as they diagnosed Mudpie's ear problems and re-taught us how to clean her ears. Second visit today was with Dr Francis who took the time to discuss the possible diagnoses and share statistics with us so that we can make informed decisions. We opted to get Hana x-rayed to check her bladder and Dr Francis invited us to the room to see the ultrasound and explain what we were looking at. When we shared that Hana's condition might be because she had a couple of stressful weeks where we had to hold her down and administer ear drops, he acknowledged that it must have been stressful for us cat slaves too. Thank you Ohana VetCare for making our visits so positive. We actually look forward to our next visit. Plus, the location brings such a great convenience to those in the far east and the clinic has such a nice calming aura. They have a few vets so scheduling an appointment is always easy. When we briefly surface our concerns via WhatsApp, they would ask questions to ensure that our cats can afford to wait and not just suffer while waiting for the next available window. Mudpie, Hana and their human slaves are very grateful for the care shown to us. 🫶🏼

Abandoned case at my area. Brought to nearest vet clinic, do a complete blood test (all good and healthy), fiv/felv test (negative), vaccination n deworming, thanks to clinic for giving him revolution plus. 🤗 1st time at Ohana, the place is nice n clean. I find the staffs there were very helpful n friendly, thanks once again for charging my hp tat was low batt. 🙏 Dr Michelle is so nice and professional. 👍 Hopefully tis fella wil go to suitable home. Character wise super chill, friendly, no drama at the clinic very cooperative tat makes Dr praise him too. I really hope more ppl would adopt/buy a pet with a responsible mindset.

A huge shout out to Ohana Vetcare. Last Thursday we took our Zoey in for her medical, posted below is the extensive list of her treatments. I was absolutely neurotic as we had the worst experience 5 weeks prior to this from so called specialists which resulted in the untimely death of my Lulu. Ohana went out of their way to care for Zoey & to keep us updated constantly with photos & messages. Straight after surgery Dr Joy phoned me too. I cannot thank them enough for their attention to detail & kindness. The bill was extremely reasonable too - no added extras. Photos below of the care & love Zoey received & I so appreciate the fact that they went out of their way to keep her cage free & calm. Cannot recommend them enough. ❤️ Hi Cheryl, just an update on Zoey. Our plan for today: - Pre GA blood test + heartworm/tick fever test - Recheck her ears to see how she is getting along - I will be checking her eyes shortly - Spay - Dental, I feel that her teeth are not too bad, but to facilitate your teeth brushing we will do a scale & polish. She does have a couple of fractured teeth, so I will do an xray to see if any of those teeth need extractions today. - She has a mammary lump which we will remove - We also found a inguinal hernia (hernia at the groin area), which we will attempt to repair today.

Definitely not a vet for angry, entitled pet owners who think that people should drop everything to attend to their pet. If you’re a first time customer, please send in a form on their website and wait for the callback/WhatsApp. I book appointments through WhatsApp and their replies are timely and necessary. Appointments are usually next day or two days later. If it is an emergency, there are emergency pet clinics. This is not an emergency pet clinic. Visits here with a cat are made less painful with Dr Tay’s patience and kindness. The rates are fair and transparent, and the staff here care for the animals.
